Storytellers from Nyack and Nearby Exhibit

Join Mimi Hoffman for a tour of the traveling exhibit, which includes authors
well known in Nyack, like Toni Morrison, Carson McCullers, and Helen Hayes, and author illustrators like Berta and Elmer Hader, Jon Agee, and Yaroslava Mills.

The training will include an abridged reading and discussion on the book
Love, From Your Friend Hannah by Mindy Warshaw Skolsky. This book, an
epistolary, is geared to middle schoolers with themes about friendship, school, parent-child conflicts, and getting in trouble.

Mindy Warshaw Skolsky’s Hannah series is unique in that Nyack is a character. Discover how to take elements of the exhibit into the classroom.
