Directions for Registering for Retired Teacher Trips and Classes

 

SETTING UP AN ACCOUNT WITH MYLEARNINGPLAN.COM

 

1.        Log on to rockteach.org

2.        To get on mylearningplan site, click on “Click here“.

3.        Click on “click here to enter our catalog”.

4.        From the “category” drop down menu, select “Retired Teachers”.

5.        Scroll down and click on “search catalog”.

6.        Click on the course you want to register for.

7.        Click on “enroll now”.

8.        Click on : I am a new user.

9.        Follow the prompts.

10.     Your user name must be your entire email address:  For example: bberkowitz@rockteach.lhric.org

11.     Your password is retired

12.     On the Basic Information screen, where you are prompted to select district/ organization, select “other” from the drop down menu.

Next to building/division name– type in “none”.  If you need to select a lunch choice, this is where you’ll put it.

13.     Under “Contact information – Work”, where it says “work phone”, please put in your cell phone.

14.     When you are done entering all the information, click “create an account”.

15.     Log out.

 

REGISTRATION AND COURSE VIEWING

This procedure is to be followed only after you've set up an account.

 

1.        Log on to mylearningplan.com.

2.        Enter your user name (your full email address) and password (retired) and log in.

3.        Go to blue column on the left side and click “RTC catalog”.

4.        From the “categories” drop down menu, click on “Retired Teachers”.

5.        Scroll down and click on “search catalog”.

6.        Click on course you'd like to register for.

7.        Click on “click to enroll”.

8.        Your personal information is there.  Click on “update & continue.

9.        Choose method of payment (credit card or check) & click “next”.

10.     Read terms and conditions.  Make sure you are familiar with our refund policy.* Click “I agree”.

11.     If you are paying by check, scroll to the bottom to “If you are paying by mail…” and, click on “enrollment form” and send form with payment to: Retired Teachers Center, 65 Chapel St., Garnerville, NY 10923.

12.     Your registration is complete. 

13.     You may either return to main menu or log out.

 

 

 

Please note:

* If you pay by check, your registration will not be complete until payment is received within 7 business days.  Your registration will be void if payment is not received on time.

 

 * You have the ability to generate directions to the site where the program is offered.

 

* Once you’ve registered for a course, click on it and print the information (times, dates, site, etc.) for your records.

 

* You will receive an email confirmation.
